ACTIVE LEARNING ASSIGNMENTS

NOTICE

1. Active learning assignment (ALA) is a necessary part of the student evaluation.
2. In this portion students are required to present a seminar of the pre-decided topic in front of the class.
3. Duration of the seminar is almost 15 minutes.
4. In order to make the seminar more effective student may come with (1) self prepared notes, (2) charts,  (3) enlarged printouts of the figure etc.
5. Use of book is strictly prohibited while presenting the seminar.
6. Evaluation of the seminar will be done on the basis of  (1)  Introduction of the topic at the start     (2) Interactions with audience     (3) Loudness of the voice     (4) Eye contact with audience     (5) Body language (facial expressions and hand movements during seminar delivery)     (6) Utilization of other resources for making the seminar more expressive.     (7) Completion of seminar by inviting questions from audience
